The City Hall office hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

How do I get in touch with City Maintenance?

When are City Council meetings held?
City Council meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7:30 pm.  The only change in that is if the first Monday is a holiday, then the meeting would be held the next day.
Council meetings are held in the City Office.

Does the City have a dump site?
The City of Roscoe has a Restricted Use Site.  This means that we do have a dump site for junk items, but we are restricted by the state in what we can accept.
The site is open April 1 through October 31, Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 5 pm to 7 pm, and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of those same months, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
If you have a question about what can be taken out to the site, contact Jim at 287-4624.

How do I find out about City announcements?
The City has a channel for any City announcements.  This channel can be found with cable provider Midco, on channel 7.  Announcements can also be found on the door of the City Office, at the Post Office, or on the home page of this site.

What was that siren?
Every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm, there is a siren test.  This test is to help make sure that the siren is working properly.  It also allows for the fire department to test to make sure that their calls are going out to their members properly.  The siren is the fire whistle.  In April, the tornado whistle is tested during the severe weather week.
